As a OPES member you are eligible to attend any of the Enological Society of the Pacific Northwest (ESPNW.org) events at the member price.  Below are links to all of the participating clubs so you can check out the wide variety of exciting programs available to you in this region.

  • Columbia-Willamette Enological Society
We are a twenty year old organization of approximately 200 members, that organizes a variety of programs aimed at enhancing the appreciation of wine.
  • Kitsap Wine Society
Sister organization to the OPES group. We are a group of individuals who gather from time to time to learn about and enjoy wine and food. We also enjoy the good company of others who also enjoy wine and food. Our group ranges in experience from, what some might describe as wine snobs, to people with no wine experience but who wish to learn about wine. Every level of experience is welcome at the KWS events.
  • Palouse Chapter
Membership is open to anyone having an interest in learning about wine.
  • Seattle Wine Society
The Seattle Wine Society is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to the appreciation of wine and food through educational events in the Puget Sound region.
  • Treasure Valley Wine Society
The Treasure Valley Chapter was organized in January of 2001. Members come from all walks of life, but share a common interest in good wine, good food and good friends. Of all the organizations you may belong to, the Enological Society may become your most enjoyable.
  • Tri-Cities Wine Society
The Tri-Cities Wine Society (nee: The Tri-Cities Enological Society) was one of the first affiliates, and is a dynamic volunteer organization. Located in the heart of the Columbia Valley and an hour from the Walla Walla Valley, wines, winemakers and educators are easily accessible. The variety of events we enjoy ranges from picnics to white tie dinners, serious seminars to winery barrel sampling. Our largest sponsored event is the Tri-Cities Wine Festival, held the second weekend in November. Internationally renowned wine experts judge wines from British Columbia to southern Oregon in a multi-event program, culminating in the Public Tasting on Saturday night. Over 200 wines were tasted in 2004 event. The winners and more information can be found at tricitieswinefestival.com.
  • Wenatchee Valley Chapter
The Wenatchee Valley Enological Society is a group of people who enjoy wine. We enjoy drinking it, talking about it and learning about it! Events are held on the third Thursday of each month, and often on selected Saturdays, as well. A theme is selected and wines are paired with some really great foods. These tastings, generally informal, are designed to be fun and educational. Events are open to all members and their guests.
  • Yakima Enological Society
The Yakima Enological Society was established in 1976.  Our purpose shall be to "foster interest in and appreciation of viticulture, enology, and proper use of wine". Our wine tastings are scheduled for the second Wednesday evening of each month. Each year we are also host to a Platinum wine tasting event.
