O.P.E.S.
is a Non-Profit Washington State
Corporation made up of members that care
about each other and our communities.
Our
mission is the mutual education and
enjoyment of fine wines from around the world
while fostering camaraderie among our members.
We
accomplish this by:
§ Conducting wine tasting events, wine dinners
and wine tours at a reasonable cost
§
Matching fine food with appropriate wine
§
Rating wines and publishing reviews
§ Supporting winemaking and hospitality
industry efforts on the Olympic Peninsula

Together, we are developing a program of regular monthly wine tasting events
and dinners conducted for members from the Olympic peninsula and beyond.
All events are designed for the enjoyment of all levels
of wine appreciation-from beginners to experts
-"high standards without snobbery!"
Current annual dues: couples $42; singles $24
All members are encouraged to participate in all
aspects of the society's activities and organization.
Bylaws and a governing board are established under the charter of the
Northwest Enological Society. (Chapters in Seattle, Yakima,
Tri-cities and other locations across the state.)
